What does cloud consulting cost?

A strategy engagement is quoted at a fixed price once we understand your environment. Smaller pieces of advice can run on prepaid hour packages, from $1,500 for 10 hours. The roadmap is yours to take anywhere, and if you'd like us to run things afterwards, our Managed IT plans start at $99 per person per month.

Cloud Consulting FAQs

What does a cloud consulting engagement produce?
A written, costed cloud roadmap you own outright. It includes the current-state architecture review, a prioritised 12–18 month plan, a cost and governance view, and a security posture assessment. You can hand it to any implementer, including your own team, and it isn't locked to us.
You focus on Azure. Will you tell us if it isn't the right fit?
Yes. We work across Microsoft 365, Azure and Google Workspace, including moves between them and off on-premises servers, and we recommend on merit. If a SaaS product or staying put makes more sense than a migration, we'll say so. Where you need Microsoft licences, we bill them at Microsoft's published price.
How much does a cloud strategy engagement cost?
A full strategy engagement is fixed-scope and fixed-price. We quote it after a short strategy call, once we understand the size and shape of your environment. Smaller questions can run on prepaid hour packages, from $1,500 for 10 hours, or ad-hoc at $160 an hour, ex GST. Ongoing support afterwards is a separate Managed IT plan, with prices published on our pricing page.
How long does an engagement take?
We aim to complete the assess phase in one to two weeks, depending on how much needs mapping. Findings and the roadmap follow. Smaller environments wrap up faster; complex hybrid setups take a little longer. We'll give you a firm timeline before we start.
Do we have to use you to build the roadmap afterwards?
No. The roadmap is yours to take anywhere. You can hand it to your own team or another provider. If you'd like us to help you build it or run it day-to-day through our Managed Cloud service, that's an option, not a condition.
