Cloud Migration

Cloud migration planned around zero downtime and zero data loss.

Move Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace or your on-prem servers without the horror stories. Every migration follows Microsoft best practice and is planned, piloted and tested before we touch your live environment. Our goal is simple: no operational downtime and no data lost.

Migrations shouldn't keep you up at night

Most cloud migrations go wrong for the same reasons: a big-bang cutover, no test run, and no way back if something breaks.

Without a migration plan

  • Weekend cutovers that overrun into Monday morning
  • Nobody's sure what data moved or what got left behind
  • Broken logins and downtime while staff try to work
  • No way back once the switch has been flipped

With Cloudaid

  • Every move planned, piloted and tested before go-live
  • Data validated before sign-off, with zero data loss as the goal
  • Cutovers scheduled out-of-hours to minimise disruption
  • A documented rollback plan ready on every migration

Everything a safe migration needs

One engineer owns the whole move, from the first audit to the day after go-live.

Discovery & assessment

We map your current apps, data and dependencies, flag the risks, and agree exactly what's moving.

Migration plan & runbook

A step-by-step runbook based on Microsoft best practice, with a timeline, booked cutover windows and a rollback plan.

Pilot & test migration

We move a small pilot group first and test logins, mail and files, so issues are found and fixed before the full move.

Cutover & go-live

The real move, run out-of-hours and closely managed, with your engineer on hand from start to finish.

Data validation

We check mailboxes, files and records against the source and reconcile anything that doesn't match before sign-off.

Post-migration support

A hypercare period after go-live: quick fixes, tweaks and hands-on help while your team settles in.

// how a migration runs

Five phases, no surprises

Every migration follows the same tested path, aligned with Microsoft best practice, so you always know what's happening now and what's next.

What will your migration cost?

A migration is a one-off project, quoted at a fixed price once we know what's moving. Smaller moves can run on prepaid hour packages, from $1,500 for 10 hours. Once you've moved, our Managed IT plans keep it running, from $99 per person per month.

  • Scoped on team size and what's moving, not per mailbox
  • Exact quote after a short discovery call
  • Clear agreement, scope agreed upfront

Published prices, no surprises

  • Managed IT plans

From $99 per person/month. Basic and Essential from 10 people, Complete from 20 people.

  • Hour packages

From $1,500 for 10 hours, or $160/hr ad-hoc. No contract.

Prices ex GST. Final scope and price are confirmed in your written agreement before any work starts.

Cloud Migration FAQs

Will our business have downtime during the migration?
Our goal is no operational downtime. We follow Microsoft best practice and plan cutovers out-of-hours (evenings or weekends), so most people log in the next morning to a finished move. Where a short window is unavoidable, we tell you exactly when and how long, well in advance, so nobody's caught out mid-task.
What happens if something goes wrong mid-migration?
Every migration has a documented rollback plan agreed before we start. If a cutover doesn't go to plan, we can revert to your original environment while we sort the issue. You're never stranded on a half-finished move.
How long does a cloud migration take?
It depends on how much is moving and how many people use it. A single Microsoft 365 tenant move can be a couple of weeks; a full on-prem-to-Azure project may run a month or two. You'll get a realistic timeline in the migration plan before any move begins.
What can you migrate?
Microsoft 365 and tenant-to-tenant moves, Google Workspace, Dropbox and on-prem file servers to SharePoint and OneDrive, and on-prem servers and apps to Azure. If it's sitting in your office or another cloud, we can usually move it.
Will we lose any data or emails?
Zero data loss is the goal of every migration, and it's why the pilot and validation phases exist. We follow Microsoft's recommended migration methods, test on a small group first, and check mailboxes, files and records against the source before we call the migration done. Your original data stays in place until the migration is signed off.
